Theory Underground is preparing to launch a new course: Digital Literacy and CMT (Critical Media Theory), which begins this May and takes place every 2nd Sunday of the month for six months. Where media theory, philosophy of technology, and critical theory meet practical tools, social science, group work, and reflections in a way that is structured to still give you a breather, or to fall off and get back on without missing everything.Go to https://theory-underground.com and check out the course listed there. Week 8 In Review - Vaush (and others) calling Žižek transphobic + FTKNWTD course launches

Žižek got cancelled for "transphobia" when in fact he is centering real concerns that have become politically incorrect. This happened the same week that the FTKNWTD course launched! This week in review starts with a clip of the Week 1 lecture followed by a conversation with Ann, Swol, and Andrew about real transphobia vs. legitimate concerns about the medicalization of therapism and ego psychology. This is controversial, but it needed to be said.
